ACI Specialty Benefits Corp., an employee assistance provider, has been named a finalist for the second year in a row for the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award (PHWA).
As part of the California Psychological Association, the PHWA was created to honor businesses for innovative programs and policies that support a healthy work environment and fosters psychologically well-being among employees.
“We know employees of all industries face many great challenges,” said Ann Clark, Ph.D., ACI Specialty Benefits CEO and founder. “Our services are designed to help employees become more productive at work, and we practice what we preach.”
As part of ACI’s benefit package, employees enjoy daily on-site yoga sessions, a generous paid-time-off program, flexible scheduling and access to all services provided by ACI, including work-life, child-care and elder-care resources, financial and legal assistance, wellness, concierge and many more.
On March 19, a panel from the California Psychological Association toured ACI’s corporate offices to evaluate ACI’s employee benefits package, policies and procedures.
Through a unique combination of organizational development and peer review, the PHWA recognizes California’s most outstanding work environments.
This year’s finalists represent an impressive array of business excellence, creative design and organizational enhancement that meet the specific needs of the organization and its employees.
A steering committee will review on-site evaluations, and winners are expected to be announced by April.
